The Federal Government's Cheaper Home Batteries Program provides an upfront discount of approximately 30% on eligible battery systems. Applied directly to your invoice.
Eligible battery systems (5–50kWh) receive approximately $300 per usable kWh of battery capacity as an upfront discount. A 10kWh battery attracts around $3,000 off, a 13.5kWh system around $4,000. From 1 May 2026, the rate reduces significantly for batteries over 14kWh — act now to maximise your rebate.
For our larger Solis and Growatt systems (50–53kWh), the rebate under the current rates is substantial — potentially $10,000–$15,000 off the upfront cost. After 1 May 2026, rebates for batteries over 14kWh are significantly reduced via a new tiered structure. Installing before this date locks in maximum savings.
NSW homeowners can stack the federal battery rebate with the NSW Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS) VPP incentive — worth up to $1,500 for connecting a VPP-capable battery to the grid. Battery must be VPP-capable (all our Solis and Growatt systems qualify). Paid after installation.

In most cases yes. We assess your existing inverter for compatibility. Some older systems may need a hybrid inverter upgrade which we include in your quote. We handle all the work.
Yes — a single phase inverter and battery can be installed in a 3-phase home. The battery and inverter operate on one phase of your supply. Net metering is handled at the meter level, so your excess solar exported to the grid is measured across all phases. You still benefit from solar feed-in and battery storage regardless of whether your home is single or 3-phase. We'll assess your switchboard setup during the site assessment.
In NSW, batteries paired with new solar panels qualify for Federal STCs, which reduce your upfront cost. Standalone battery-only installations have limited Federal rebate entitlement. The NSW
